Would you care to comment on ‘loan’ being used as a verb, when we have perfectly good verb, ‘lend,’ available?”
It was Polonius who advised Laertes:
“Neither a borrower nor a loaner be.”
And could it be time for QT’s annual reminder that a speeding car doesn’t careen through an intersection, but careers through it?
