L.A., a Chicago reader, writes:
“As opposed to people in the neighborhood wearing clown masks who aren’t suspicious?”
And can it be time for QT’s triennial reminder that the correct plurals are attorneys general, culs-de-sac and  teaspoonsful?
And that the  plural of “still life” is  “still lifes”?
