Update of QT Planetary Defense Coordination Office update

Asteroid Map
Myra Travin, a Victoria, British Columbia, reader, regarding QT’s item earlier today about NASA’s opening a Planetary Defense Coordination Office to discover and deter incoming asteroids, writes:
“Perhaps an interactive map?”
To review:
Shortly after QT published the item, two asteroids were discovered:
+ Asteroid 2016 AN164, which will pass between Earth and the moon later today.
+ Asteroid 2016 AQ164, which passed between Earth and the moon four days ago.
Nor did QT mention Asteroid 2016 AH164,
That is because it was discovered still later in the day.
It passed lower than the orbits of some man-made satellites.
That was four days ago.
Which brings us up to date.
For the moment.
