QT Yellowstone Caldera (the eruptions of which can be violent enough to send a layer of ash six feet deep as far away as Chicago and which erupts every 600,000 or so years and last erupted 640,000 years ago) update

Yellowstone recorded 155 earthquakes in November.
This is twice the number of earthquakes that happened in October–and the highest monthly count of 2015 as the region continues what scientists have called “a fascinating year of ups and downs.”
A reminder: Whenever a scientist calls something “fascinating,” it is probably the start of a Syfy network movie.
